counterfeit

Wondering how rampant counterfeit outdoor clothing is for various brands. I know TNF and Columbia get killed in this dept, but perhaps less so for Pata, Marmot, Cloud, etc? Anyone shed any light?

I've been frequenting ebay auctions for gently used equipment for just this reason. You figure most counterfeit go off as NWT.

There is counterfeit everything out there. Just go into ebay and look for a sports jersey of your favorite team/player. It is amazing what you can find.

I remember traveling through Turkey and the Grand Bazar in Instanbul. Tons of counterfeit clothing and womens purses, etc. Hell, I hear in China everything is counterfeit. Just ask Bill Gates or Warner Bros. You can go to China Town in NYC and get all sorts of knock off stuff. I suspect it's the same in Hong Kong and on e-bay.
