    2005 Mustang

Any ECers fancy exporting one to the UK and making a potful of cash?

Word is that personally imported V8 'Stangs will sell here for between £25 and £30k ($45 and $54k USD). List price has yet to be finalised in the US but it's looking like $27k. Factor in $5k shipping and you're looking at grossing at least $13k and as much as $22k per unit. Depends how aggressive you can be with the dealer markups.

Holy Shit! I saw one of those outside my office the other day. The Ford guys were having some press conference.

I usually wouldn't buy any Ford, but I'd drive this.

Roo, I'd ship one over for you in exchange for a D90

Not even that much from what I understand. I was looking at getting a motor from Japan (have mates there) and the shipping was going to be a bit over £1000 plus a few hundred in customs clearance fees.

If that doesn't work I have a buddy who owns a company that has a 50% stake in one of these

How much does it cost to move the steering to the wrong side of the car though? Can't imagine it's cheap.

I've been drooling since the day they said they might be doing a shelby version, a la the GT500's of the late 60's. *testosterone levels shooting through the roof*

As the former owner of a tricked 1987 5.0 GT, I think I'd give my left nut to own a 2005 GT-R.

An engine easily tunable to over 500 hp and fully independant rear suspension = gotta love it!

After the blower and other engine mods, I was still "only" pushing out like 375, and with the live axel rear, it was a handful in the turns. This whole "turns" thing is what brought about it's demise.

Remember the commercial "Have you driven a Ford lately?" Well, at the time that commercial was airing, I could honestly say "Yep, right into a tree".
Of all the muthafuckas on earth, you the muthafuckest.
