Nice, glad it worked out better today. We had a good time too, near where you were planning on going originally, with the masses. (oh wait, we had the whole place to ourselves).

Everyone you know from college says this trip report is gayer than a pair of dynafits on reverse sidecut skis.

what a great TR, not sure how I missed this.
What a fantastic line to have in your "backyard" !
    count me jealous.

in a genuinely honest question here though, could you talk a little about what you observed that made you feel comfortable skinning all the way up that slide path? seems like what you'd see at the bottom would be different from the top, especially in a nearly 4,000 foot line thats nearly 5,000 ft from your car.

Please please please dont take this as arm chair qb'ing.
Im really just looking for information and insight onto your observations.
I think it would be interesting and informative, and to more than just myself

So So So sick! I don't even live there and have eyeballed that line a hundred times and wondered if it gets skied. Radtacular work !
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?
