[stepping on soap box] Bottom line: treat people the way you want to be treated, in life and on this board. I've had flame wars and there are some people here (very small #, can be counted on a couple fingers) that I have no desire to ever meet. For the most part even people I've had flame wars w/ over ideas and principle's have an open invitation for a pickup at the airport, a place to stay and even a guided tour of anyplace I know. That being said, when someone expresses their ideas/feelings a response that "you're an idiot" or "that's a fackin' stupid way of thinking" will turn people off real quickly. If we all keep this in mind it may keep the board from ever going through the shit that its gone through lately. I'm not saying everyone HAS to act this way, but it'll make things a lot nicer in the future. [hopping down from soap box]
