we spent all day inhaling snow at solitude. unfricken real how deep and smooth the snow was in the headwall forest and then in honeycomb. Kept going from the bell until they closed the gates. looks like i picked a terrible week to come out here.

p.s. pontoons ruled today. my first time on a reverse camber ski and holy shit what a blast in the pow in the trees.

Yeah it was pretty epic. I was talking to a local girl who said it was pretty crowded for a friday at soli, probably b/c of the early lcc closure, but no real lift lines and sick powder all damn day didnt make it seem too crowded to me.

Yeah man. Was rocking the pontooners at Solitude today as well. My teeth hurt from smiling so much.

This is like talking to a pitcher in the midst of a perfect game. But Vail was insane yesterday. The snow finally fell straight down after a week of Wyoming style winds.

I agree. I skied both days and Martin Luther King day was deeper and a bit lighter.
