Wasatch Backcountry Beta from Today (Feb 1)?

I'm trying to decide if it may be too deep to hit the low angle/safer routes in the backcountry tomorrow morning. If anyone has been out today, post your observations and thoughts on breaking trail, snow depths and ski-ability of "safe" terrain.

I'd bet wowasatch.com will have info later tonight.

    Or.................

The Wasatch is probably the easiest place to find up to date info for on the planet.

My observation is watch out for unruly and bold moose in Butler Fork. Especially if you are getting a predawn start.

Thanks Trackhead... I'll watch out for the wildlife. And thanks for the links to more beta sources. :-)

He/she was probably pissed about their significant other getting the chop a week ago on BCC roadway.

The TCA ungulates are having a hell of a time this winter. Saw lion tracks following a moose's in Bowman a couple of weeks ago. Moose went stright uphill at one point and the lion did too. Wonder what happened?

Observations: lots of snow, lots of wind, lots of terrain that is still safe to ski. Lots of skiers in low-angle terrain. Lot's of skiers in ski resorts. you won't know unless you go. Be safe, have fun.

Comedy. I saw that mofo sitting at the trailhead when I went up to Solitude. He looked like he was looking for something to mount. Tell me your rectum is now not the size of a big gulp cup...

My buddy just sent me this shot, from this morning.

Looks like I'll be breaking trail up AF Canyon then. Gonna explore the lower aspects of White Baldy and the bowls around Silver Lake Flats. I hope I can get into something with enough pitch to make turns. No Big Gulp stops for me...

I really need new touring skis... 110mm waist minimum... for low angle pow.

    Sunny Saturday with fresh snow?
    Northern powder circuit.
    Silver, Days, Cardiff, Mineral.
Good settlement, minimal natural activity. Most recent snow was sluffing over 35°.
    Trail breaking ain't bad.
