Marker contacty info please, dukes giving me troubles.

So here we go again...... My dukes have broken for the 2nd time this season. I really hoped they'd last a whole season, but that seems difficult. This time they've developed play in the pin that goes throught the gold lever. Clearly a manufacturing issue. I took them to the local dealer here in Nelson and they rang marker Canada. Apparently they have no bindings left so my options are to:

    (a) redrill for a large binding
    (b) take a shop credit and have no more binding
    (c) contact marker USA

I may be retarded, but I can't find any contact info for marker US. I have no internet (this is a short borrow) and Marker Canada can't give me a US phone number. Anyone know the number of any reps or anything? I really just want to ski on my skis, there's a big low dumping snow and I'm borrowing gear. It's been a week now and I REALLY WANT TO JUST SKI ON A BINDING THAT WORKS. Frustrating.

its sucks, but redrilling for a large sounds like your best call, unless someone that runs a shop in the US can contact them on your behalf. maybe pm tenex198 to see if he can style you?

they honestly will not speak directly to a customer, and will insist on going through a shop...

though if you insist on trying, you might try to get ahold of volkl/marker in NH or k2 @ vashon island, wa

Bump. Almost 2 months since my dukes broke and I still can't ski my skis. They broke at the end of January, that's the whole of Feb and 1/2 of march. Thank god I trusted marker. FUCK.

Marker Canada had no replacements, their suggestion was to re-mount with larges. I'm only bumping because I'm pissed at marker and their system of being impossible to contact. I believe my bindings have been to marker at least once, maybe twice via the store I bought them at but miscommunication has them bouncing back and forth from marker to shop. If they had a system where I could talk to them directly, or at least they ring me this could've been sorted out ages ago. Instead it's chinese (not the preferred nomenclature) whispers here. Squaretail, when I originally broke them I had no internet, getting to a computer was a once a week thing. I thought I could get things fixed via phone a lot quicker.

conundrum: how about you pm rontele for me. Way to go.

Bump for marker service because they broke in January, I sent them in early february and it's now april. They are apparently in the mail and have been for 3 weeks. To the house I was renting in january. Unfortunately now I've left the country and I never got to ski my skis for the snowiest 2 months of winter. Maybe next winter......

    WAY TO GO MARKER DUKES!!!!!!

Didn't want to drill a 3rd time for a pair of bindings that would probably break from being too large. They are apparently sending me smalls.

I'm curious if you're getting the stiff arm because of the time of year. I wonder what their production dates are and release of 08/09 product, in terms of replacements

No, because I'm now working on the other side of the world, well away from volkl reps. I htinnk I got completely shafted by the whole deal, but I will try to pick it back up again now that I know my warranteed binding never arrived.

Contact Jesse Jones... I hear he knows a lot about the dukes. Might even have an imaginary pair he'd gladly sell.

If your foot fit the larges, they were not going to break because they were too big...

Quit your damn whining, and you SHOULD have just frigin re-drilled them and not thought about this anymore instead of stewing away into June.

The Pow in Colorado was GREAT in Feb, March, April, and MAY...glad my Large size Dukes worked just fine on my 315mm bootsole.

I'd hardly call this whining. He's definitely getting the dry anal treatment from marker... I would have probably flipped a major shit by now if I was told my bindings were still in the mail, 4+ months after they supposedly shipped. I mean, I know it's Canada and all, but 4+ months?

Shot in the dark, but did you try calling ROAM, maybe for some reason they got your dukes?

If you want whining, look at all those crybaby threads about broken sidewalls from rock damage...

Are you looking to re-drill the binding into the same set of holes that have already had the binding taken out once already? Is it me or does that sound like a bad idea?
    No longer stuck.
