Not really sure what to expect. Other than attending the FOBP avy awareness session and reading avy books (Snow Sense, Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain, Avalanche Safety), I have zero experience in BC touring. Got gear (beacon, shovel; waiting for my Naxos to come tomorrow).
