    Anticipation (God - I can't wait)

Sooo, as many of you may remember, we (CPG) have been working on a five year permit for some time now. Well the date is drawing near and things are looking good. I took a flight through some of our new terrain a couple of days ago and took several hundred pics. Here are a few. I think we'll have a couple of full seasons and a dedicated bird for nothing but private groups, exploratories and first descents. God damn! This makes me hard. Our area will expand from 1000 sq. miles to 2500 sq. miles and ther is just so much unscratched terrain it's not even funny.

    Pics below...

    Too Wonderful!

I'll do the first descents on the lines, that the others think aren't hard enough.

How many arms and legs would it cost us to hit that stuff????
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

I lost a pair of goggles and half a pack of skittles when I was there last time. Let me know if you find them.

    Me likey; me likey awwwwwwwwwlot!!!

We didn't ski anything like then when I flew with you guys 4 years ago and Chris Anthony was my guide!! We were always second group on the slope right after Hammre (sp?) made sure it was safe.

ONS, that would be my only complaint from 4 years ago - is that CPG seemed to cater to the masses staying at the hotel too much and "tone" down the terrain a little too much. I understand that philosophy and the being safe and have the utmost respect for hammre and overcast - but come on.

Hopefully the "new" terrain will bring a little "fresher" philosophy to the table as well.

    Very SICK!!!

Owens is a busy man, highlander. You can't expect him to drop what he's doing to find your stuff.

Tell you what. You pay my airfare to AK and I'll go look for them myself.

Owens, that's sick. I hope it works out for you.

Hey ONS, do you give heli time by the minute?, I know a lot of companies will dish it out for about $700 hr or so. I was looking to get a heli drop/pickup in Alaska somewhere were we could base out of and get a few alpine routes in. Looks like theres a lot of terrain to be had.
