Annual Youth Group Ski Trip to Swiss Valley, MI
    Fun was had by all!
Lessons-we had 6 skiers and 9 snowboarders that needed lessons

My Co-Leader and awesome ski instructor Yancy

    Thing 1:

When asked how the lesson was going, Oscar replied:

    Doing what snowboarders do...

Really What is sad about a bunch of kids getting out and learning to ski or board?

I know midwest skiing ain't great, but at least it's skiing. I'm at Swiss at least 3 days a week all winter long and still manage to have a great time.

Nohills, glad you guys had a good time, you hit when the snow was good and the temps not so freaking cold. Too bad I couldn't be there this weekend.

Looks like good times. Nice, taking all the kids!

This is how the infection starts. Then the fever sets in. Next thing you know, these kids are listing "skiing proximity" at their number 1 selection criteria for college!

    Good on you, NoHills!

Thanks all for the feedback! It is fun getting kids hooked on snow instead of all the other things that they could be doing.

Indy- by the time I actually got on the hill (why did I have to be the group leader?), I did find a small stash of fresh right above the glade/woods. I took every opportunity to pillage that area. I also did the buried fun box! :beam:

Nice work nohlls. Reminds me of my upbringing, I'm sure my parents would have introduced me to something else if they had any idea where it was going to take me keep on spread'en the word.
