    longboard fin setup

what's up everyone, i'm new here and just thought i'd ask everyone what their fin setup looks like...

on my 9 6" i always used a 9" squirrel and ran it as a single fin, but lately i threw on the side fins and used a 6" cut away fin shoved all the way up and i love it for doing roundhouse cutbacks, but i noticed that with this setup i dig rail a lot more now when i'm up on the nose on small days... my single fin is a lot more forgiving on the tip as my 2+1 digs rail w/just a little off-step

so when it's small i now just use a 10" single fin and when it's bigger i go 2+1 using the 6" cut-away... i don't like having to take off the side fins everytime though so i wish there was a perfect in-between because sometimes there'll be a freak set that calls for carving and floaters that aren't as clean w/my 10" single...

I do the same as you. I have the same fin setup on my 9'2, and a singlefin noserider for small days.
