New Hampshire tomorrow, where to go?

I just got back from Utah and am facing the depressing possibility of skiing in NH tomorrow. I live in Boston but since I grew up in VT I always just pass over New Hampshire mostly.

Just heading out for the day with my GF who is very much an intermediate. What's got the best combination of good snow, cheaper tickets, and fewer crowds? Was thinking Sunapee because it is close, but I have never been there and have no idea if it is a good call. I don't really feel like driving to northern NH.

    Any suggestions? Thanks boys.

"I demoed the Davenport 2 weeks ago, I really liked them a lot... the blue sidewalls and tip really looked great with my pants. I also tried the '11 MX98, they didn't look as good with my outfit. If you have blue pants or maybe some Lange race boots I recommend you check them out."

Some good skiing was had in Franconia Notch today.

...but I didn't ski anything inbounds and doubtful would be what your looking for with the girlfriend and all. Ragged might be an alright little ski for you. Fewer crowds than Sunapee.

    Ragged from a distance Wednesday.

Sunapee isn't a bad little area. Plenty of fun for intermediate level skiers. Lots of groomers. Nice views. There are a even a few rock hard bumps if your shins need some abuse, and the terrain park is actually pretty good.

    Fun for what it is.

Never been to Ragged. Haven't had any natural snow in a while. Not sure how well they keep up the snowmaking.

the Mad - Where was that picture of Ragged taken from? I'm always looking at it from the other side.

Why yes. That would be the New London side.

That is some cool looking stuff in your other thread. Now if we could just get more of what we had in December.
