J., you were born to be in the NHL, watch the video and then go crush someone. You should at least try.

Every time you go to hit someone, pretend they are Ulf Samuelsson, say "Cam Neely" out loud and just fuckin kill em.

You can do it. Getting a little old, but you can do it.

Phaneuf won the shootout elimination? wth?

Oh and who else thought that the relay they started with was lame?

seemed like most of those guys were just visibly uncomfortable trying to showboat there at the end.

hockey culture + mainstream U.S. TV = meh..

how about the Chara though...come on iceman, Chara, Tim Thomas....you have to admit the Bruins look good!

I loved the 3 on 3, no faceoffs, pond style. How fun was that?!? That was easily my favorite feature tonight.

I wish I could scout. That I would enjoy.

Speaking of which, watch in the next 5 or so years, there's an 18ish year old kid in Utah that's 6'9" and getting pretty good. He towers over me. He should be moving from Midget to Junior here soon. I'm stoked.

Agreed, that was great. Vs. production values suck though, in my opinion. The NHL should work on getting a TV deal with a real channel, not the home of the PBR Bull Riding Series.

the allstar game was great to watch.. amazing how many scores they can get when you make teams composed of the league's finest.

listening to all the brass talk about it on XM they seem to really like VS.
Perhaps it's the fog of time, but I look at the quality gap between NBC's coverage and the VS coverage and I wonder why the N H (fucking) L has such lousy coverage from such a weak channel. How did this major professional sport become marginalized.

I wonder if it was just me, or just my area or cable provider or whatever, but did you guys notice a lot of digital glitches for the all star game and skills broadcasts? Like where the picture would freeze up and come back a few seconds later....That was driving me NUTS.

On the other hand, I've enjoyed FSN's coverage of both the Avs and the Coyotes, both of which I get in Utah. Maybe that's the bright side, that local coverage is picking up the slack.

Nope, not just you. Those of us in NJ got it as well... and what was driving me nuts was the sound which would go from too loud to inaudible and then back again.
