I know this is a long shot, BUT,
I will be going to France with my family in late April this year.
I know it is a cliche, but I want to ski the classic haute route and
none of my usual partners can break away.
Last time I skied the Grand Montets lift I was watching the ant-like
parties heading out across the glacier wishing I was with them.
So anybody who wants to do the mainline Haute Route or do some
Chamonix day trips in that time period please PM me.
I have decades of BC skiing experience, speak French, but most likely will spring for a guide just for the local knowledge and would like to split that expense.
I'm more into enjoying the classic alpine trips, rather than pushing limits
in no-fall lines.
