    Mt. Washington this weekend

Anyone interested? The road is open to 4.5 miles already, and will open to the summit on May 8th. They are expecting 2-4 inches of snow today and cooler temps through the week, with the observatory calling fo 50s during the weekend. I'm planning on skiing friday and saturday.

how are the general hiking conditions up there, still muddy/snowy? I'm planning on hiking it (no skiing, just hiking) in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Dip, it was really dry on friday. Gatiers and boots and you'll be fine.

And I got Aspen Extreme a few weeks ago, thanks bro. Next time you're up let me buy you a beer.

It looked like there was a fresh (but thin) coating today. Ugghh, why do I always have to work weekends!

Train, arent you right by tuckerman? Do you bartend?(I remember someone saying they bartend around there)

edit: oh yeah, I turn 21 on friday, so whoever comes up better plan on getting trashed really good.

CantDog - 21st birthday? Damn man, you didn't mention that. That makes my inability to skip work for turns on Friday even more disappointing. Damn consulting and its ridiculous demands on my time.

FYI - stating the obvious but police up there are pricks to begin with(MASS plates don't help either)- and it is mud season and they are especially bored right now. Nothing helps pass their shift like a good DWI bust.. Consider yourself warned.

WORD! Was up there a couple weeks ago, and you could just feel them getting antsy. N.H. cops suck. Be carefull. Second warning.

yo maggots, i'm hiking up saturday. going up with some old college buddies and some new people on my old ski team, and my booze hound coach, heh. so i'll be hangin with them, but if you see me, by all means say hi.

also, i'll be up there way earlier than the rest of 'em on Friday night (they'll probly roll in around minight or so), so i might be down for some drinks. we usually stay at the joe dodge but word on the street is you now pay per person instead of per room, so we are staying in gorham (i think) in some motel.

Happy 21st, Cant! That's a great way to spend your birthday but I think you guys are nuts for hiking all the way up there when there's barely any snow left. Have a blast!
