    Goats Vs. Bro 183s's

Did a search but could not find anything comparing these two. Those of you who have been on both how do you think they compare. I have been a Volkl man for quite a while but would like to give the Bros a try. These would be my everyday ski. I am also looking st the Mantra. I currently use AC4's I like them but am getting tired of the piece of shit Marker system bindings (they preleased on me again today). My powder ski is a Sanouk but I am thinking of replacing them with the Kuro for next year. The Bros sound like the may be just what I'm looking for. A somewhat stiff crudbusting go everywhere do everything ski. If $$$ works out I would like to be on the Bro 183s and the Kuro 185s next year. Any opinions on this two ski quiver? I ski Northern Utah. Mostly Beaver but do make it down to the Salt Lake resorts several times a year.

I have a pair of 183 gots mounted with Dynafits for BC, and I demoed the 183 bros yesterday at Solitude - conditions were cut-up chunky crud, so not really a fair side by side comparison (haven't skied the gots in crud yet but I have a lot of pow days on them). The bros were crud busting machines, also fun on the groomers if you're into that. Way stiffer then last years gots. I really liked the bros where I could eye up my line and let them run. They were more work vs. the gots when I was picking my way thru a tight line/trying to find the line and having to put the ski where I needed them to go. Wasn't much powder to be found yesterday so I didn't get to link turns in it, but the bros seemed to work fine in the few spots I found. I would have to ski them in real pow to get a true impression though. For a crud ski I would pick the bro over the gots, esp. if you already have powder boards.

    sfotex,

Since you are skiing Gots and bros, why don't you sell me your camo Praxis?

Here is the link to the same question from a few weeks back http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...d.php?t=108505.
I just got my 183's last week and the construction looks incredible. I have not skied them yet and will post a review as soon as I do. I currently have the 179's stiffs from two years ago and I love them. The only issue I had with them was the camber was alot so in pow the tips tended to dive a bit. The issue has been taken care of and they look freaking perfect. The new line also seems to be a bit stiffer than the previous runs.

Go see skifishbum at Soli and demo the Bro 183 (he might even have some Gots to compare, but I think they are bigger) You will like the Bros.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...
