Lib Tech NAS Pow-First Day review

Well My lib techs came yesterday from shoreline of Tahoe. First off there where only a few stores that sold these skis online. I called all of them but the people at shoreline seemed the easiest to deal with. I ordered the skis on sunday, they shipped monday and arrived on thuresday. The skis out of the snowboard box where the nicest looking boards ive seen. Flex is stiff throughout with a fair amount of camber. I had them mounted with my dukes.
Today I took them out onto some cold hardpacked snow with smooth bumps. Not perfect conditions to test out a ski with 149-117-140 dementions. First off the mounting point is foward on these ski compared to most that ive used. I mounted them at the dent. My first run of the day the skis felt horrible . The large tail and small amount of ski in front of me through me off. Especially coming from my SV in a 189 the skis looked felt small. Well the second run it all clicked. Skis feel great on the hard stuff. For such a large dimention ski it really skied groomes great and turned quickly in the bumps(not ziplining or anything). Only skied a few more runs before work but the skis preform in the harder snow. I cant wait to try them in pow. Im sure its not going to be the pure powder preformer that the Katanas are but hopefully the big dimentions will give this stiff ski enough float. Ill take them in the bc on sunday to see how they ski the soft. Oh the magne traction seems to work. Im not used to sharp edges so that might have something to do with it too but the skis hold on the hard packed very well .

I will add more with more days on the skis. So far sooo good

I have been impressed with shoreline in the past too. I ordered a board and bindings from them and it was at my door in 3 days, and I live in Australia. I thought it would take like 3 months if they arrived at all.

If the magne traction on the skis works anything like the boards it da good stuff.

They like to dive in really deep snow, once you get the balance figured on them its all good. Wish they had a rockered tip like the freeride series.

I could see that. I live in Telluride so we rarely have deep snow
