Opinions? How's the glue? I've always used Ascensions, looking for a pair of skins for my resort/near country skis plus a pair for a friend. Like the idea of supporting a small business and saving a little $$ if the product is solid.

I hear that they have poor durability issues but I remember reading on their site recently that they were improving the material that they use.

In my opinion skins aren't a good place to look to try and save money.

For the sake of your partners, I suggest you pay close attention to this advice...

Mine didn't even last 6 months. They have multiple rips and the glue doesn't stick to itself. I had to duct tape them around my skis the last few times out. The tip and tail attachments are a significant step backward. Unless the company has made major changes, I would stay away from these skins. The hassle isn't worth a few bucks.
I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

Thanks folks, that's all I needed to know, I'll stick with Ascensions, even though this isn't my regular touring set-up.
