I fell off a cliff and smashed my face into a tree off this super gnar tarzan line. Nailed the rest of the line then pickle flipped on the flats before the finish after sticking the drop. SMOOOOOOTH. Mitchey ate shit 10ft before the finish line too... tough break. A-train caught a rock on the snaggletooth and ate it hard.

Sorry about the lack of results tonight - the staff was too fried to finish scoring since the contest ran late for the men.

I usually put the scoring up within 5-10 minutes of when i receive it, and will do so tomorrow as soon as I have it in hand.

Stoked for the TGR crew, hopefully a maggot can take the podium.

I say props to any of the contestants that tackled Roberts yesterday. I hung out at the top of the course for a few hours and that upper section was the boniest I've ever seen it, strewn with exposed rocks and shnarbie trees sticking out everywhere, not many linkable lines or airs anywhere. You could tell they bombed it cus there was no snow up there. Don't know what the bottom was like but the top didn't look like fun.

Props to Havoc Mitchell for huckin the backflip off Snagletooth.

Blaiser ended up 4th and Matty GT got 3rd. The kid who won is in a league of his own. Dane Tudor will be destroying a big mtn comp near you soon.

    Top five finalists

    1. Dane Tudor
    2. Luke Nelson
    3. Mathieu Theriault
    4. Alex Blais
    5. Richard Small

The entry air at 2:35 of the Biglines video is fucking ridiculous. What an insane stomp to full-stop with exposure below. The huge left to right air is pretty filthy too. I'm thinking both were Dane Tudor, the winner? Did he have the camo coat?

Lots of other great skiing too in what appeared to be challenging conditions and route finding, not to mention lots of trees to smack into if you fucked up.

    Congrats to all the competitors.

Thanks for asking Ski Guy, but nope I'm done(38 years old). When I did my last comp in 2000(Snowbird) I knew going in that it would be my last. I happened to win it so the feeling of going out on a high note was good.

But I blew my knee so badly(4 ligaments) in 2001 filming with TGR that I've never been the same since. I've had good days and bad, and even continued filming a bit, but overall my knee is just not the way it used to be.

I have no regrets related to reaching my goals in skiing but I definitely wish I had escaped that aspect of the sport without any major long term injuries. That's the risk we all take for pushing our limits though. I feel fortunate to still have the occasional great day where the knee feels good and everything comes together.

I'm still blown away by these comps though, and the talent pool seems deeper than ever. Competing to win in these comps is an incredibly risky venture and you have to lay it on the line every run, even when the conditions are sketchy-I'm amazed there haven't been more serious injuries over the years. Just looking at Dane's skiing shows you that he's taking big risks, but he pulls it off in a confident manner because he's so on his game. It's really hard to have that feeling at every comp though and that's why you don't see total domination by one person in this sport like you do in other sports. I think the closest anyone has come to that is Hugo Harrison.

Tomahawk Peak? I just re-read that article in the 30th Anniversary Issue of Powder on the crapper before going for a tour this morning.

Dane Tudor has recently started filming for a part in the new Theory-3 productions movie. Hes just as happy in the park as he is in the backcountry as i dont doubt he will show at the US open slopestyle next week. But wait for the movie to see what happens when he combines the 2 skills..............
