    Most improved...

..Arty50, at least for the kwood crew.

Its incredible what being unemployed can do for someones skiing. I realized today how far Arty has come over the past few months when he came screamin down the wall as I rode chair 10 with splat. He was skiing with confidence and control, not to mention speed that were far above anything he could have done when I first skied with him in Dec. As the season has progressed his balls have grown as well, need I mention the "heart incident" , Arty has gone from being sketched by the idea of his skis leaving the ground to looking for shit to huck. good on ya arturk.

Talking about me behind my back, huh?

It's been an amazing season so far. There were so many things I wanted to accomplish this year, and I'm not just talking about lines I wanted to ski. Some of them were checked off, a few weren't, and a whole bunch of things were added to the list. I still feel I have a long way to go though. I still think I can be smoover, faster, quicker, stronger. Those are challenges for this spring, summer in SA, next year, etc.

I guess a sign of addiction is that you just can't get enough. You always need more. I'm definitely guilty of that.

Still though, it's been amazing to watch everyone do the same this year: accomplish new goals, ski new lines, and work on the smooove. So most improved? Maybe, I dunno. I've seen great progress in everyone else too. That's why I'm still struggling to keep up.

Arty also owns my favorite quote from the entire season (from the Save Kimmy's Boobs thread):

No, I've been trying to do a Corked Misty 1080 with a rasta car in Grand Theft Auto.

Get the backflip and linkin loop first. Then you can move to the corked spins.

Most Improved goes to......:drumroll:....SummitCo1776! (and not because he has my back in that other thread)

First of the year he had never hucked a cliff over 5 feet or so....

A few weeks ago he was hucking a 35 footer and sticking it....And the cliff WAS measured, so nah na na nah nah! Time for me to go back to work....

I vote for Skier 666. Until this year his pole plants were all fucked up, but after a couple of days of skiing with me they are solid. Next season we'll work on angulation--time to rip-down the A-frame.

Actually, I'll contest the nod to Arty50 for being the most improved k-weeder. Divegirl was skiing greens and blues at the beginging of the season. She ended Saturday by running a one ski wide waterfall. If that's not improvement, I don't know what is. Snowjob isn't too far behind Arty, she started out with a fear of speed and steepness, and finished out the season going down the wall and eagle with confidence, strong turns and decent speed.

Just because neither of them are at the superstar level yet doesn't mean they haven't improved considerably. And yeah, I heart Arty, he's my role model (except for the eyebrows).
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Hell of a case for divegirl, DJ. Hard to argue it.
    She's tits in my book.
But even though she has balls and mighta sucked some,
    She didn't split a lip.

I'm afraid, therefore, IMO, Arty would edge her out through sheer bravado and insanity, even though some of her posts are wonderfully borderline.

She never complained about being too tired or burnt out to ski.... but that aftermath pic of arty still makes my stomach turn.

Ha!! I didn't know Arty's abilities before this season, I always thought he was badass! Looks like I'll have to get some more balls, and be all insaneo-like on the slopes next season. It's on!!! I can't wait to improve even further. Silverton, here I come.
