WTB feeler: My First Touring Setup

At the moment I only have a pair of skinny 177cm park skis (and I don't even like the park!) so I am looking for something bigger. I also recently met some people who tour a fair bit and I'd like to get into it. Basically I'm looking for a setup that will be used primarily for going downhill and short hikes from the lift, but would also be suitable for longer climbs. I might eventually buy some touring boots, but initially I would be using my alpine boots (BSL 315mm). I think a good ski would be 185ish cm with a 90-100mm waist and Nx21's or Freerides or Dukes. Ideally, they would come with skins.

Right now I'm thinking of buying a set of old AK launchers (00/01 model I think) with Freerides (not plus) and BD Ascension skins off ebay for 425USD shipped. Any input on whether that's a good deal or not? Anyone have anything else that might be good for me? I would rather pick up locally (I'm in Alberta), but shipping could be done. Any concerns about my JONG status can hopefully be fixed with paypal or certified cheque or cash pickup. My budget is around 400 beans. . .
