Chinese Xu Wins Opening Race of World Cup Aerial Season

Xu Nannan of China upset Olympic and world champion Alisa Camplin of Australia to win the opening race of World Cup aerial season at Mt. Buller, Australia, on Saturday.

Xu beat Camplin by a margin of 0.65 points to win the gold medal. Another Australian Lydia Ierodiaconou finished third.

Camplin was surprised by the result but said Xu deserved to win.

Hey!! Check out those skis! Hart's eh? Well at least they are based in the US (not sure where they are manufactured). Good ol' Harts makes me think of Suzy Chapstick.

Now see...along with my typo in the subject line I clickin' and typing so fast that I actually meant this to be a reply to the following post - not a new post of it's own.........perhaps it makes more sense now.

Now that might make freestyle aerials a bit more interesting.

I thought Hart went out of business YEARS ago. I know they were THE ski for ariels and ballet. Perhaps all the arealists and ballet - I mean ACRO- skiers hoarded them up, like maggots would do if they had the chance with Igneous

Hart is still around. Dave Crichton (sp?) skied on some of their twins before he switched to Dynastar. I think I've seen a few pairs of their modern bump skis around too.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

    Check out www.hartskis.com

Seems as though they are trying to make a comeback... Put out some jib sticks and bring back the Phatback, and they might just do it.
