I've been noticing that too. Especially since trout season slowed.
Only about month or so 'till things start picking up again...on warmer days of course. Hopefully the snow continues and we have a good water season in the WY, MT, ID region!
i may have something to post in a few weeks when i head out to the big horn for a couple days.

I went to the beach on December 28th and caught a striper. Worst fight ever. The thing came up with a scarf and ear muffs on and told me to let him go so he could get back under the covers and watch Oprah. Wierd.
If I wasn't going duck hunting this weekend I'd be out at the beaches again...
...And the greatest ice must crumble when it's flower's time to grow.
It's kinda fun to sit here and BS about fishing in the middle of ski season, huh?![]()

Winter Fishing in SV is just picking up. As soon as the temp gets near 30 I'll be hitting the big wood with midges.
Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

G.GL - Keep the us posted as to when the midge fishing fires up...if you don't mind! I am planning a trip that way for some early season fishin'. Prolly in mid-late Feb.
