    If you say so.

Defending the actions of shitty resort owners.........They can do no wrong, eh? And I am wrong just because of where I live now?

I would suggest that the next time you buy a lift ticket, you flip it over and read the back...

YOU are responsible for knowing and skiing within your own limits.

Not ski patrol, not the owners, not anyone else except yourself.

    and

    SKI AT YOUR OWN RISK

If you want a ski area with speed limits and Nazi mountain safety or patrol or whatever, go to Purgatory.... or Breck, or Keystone or any number of ski resorts.... not Wolfie.

Sounds like you simply didn't do your research. Wolfie is a grass roots organization.
NO, they aren't really set up to handle 6000 people. Their area simply isn't set up to handle that amount of people (and if you think THAT was bad, think of what it'll be like if FUCK TARD "Red" McCombs and his little bitch down in Creede get their way!) so of course it's going to be crazy on the holidays. And look at it's proximity to Texas, NM, etc. OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO BE CRAZY!!! It's a family run ski area. They don't have the money/resources to make it into a "destination family ski resort", NOR do they want to...THANK FUCKING GOD!

My reccomendation... do your research next time. If you want a family friendly resort, then go to one. Try T-ride. They have the best beginner terrain in CO IMHO. But take your pissy attitude else where. It's people like you who ruin the few remaining places like WC for the rest of us.

I was at Wolfie with my 7 and 13 year old on the 28th, riding the Alberta chair when this redneck shit eater gets on from the singles line. We get about a third of the way up and he twangs across the chair "Hey man, you want some meth?". If I was not with my kids I would've thrown the fucker from the chair and not thought twice, instead I just stared him down until he looked the other way. When we got off the lift, I flagged down a patroller hiking up to the ridge and told him the story while pointing out the loser who'd tried to deal me meth and the patroller asked me "So, what should I do?" At this point I was furious, I am by no means a narc, I don't give a shit what you want to snort or smoke but this bastard tried to sell me meth in front of my children, Fuck Him. I figured it was up to me but unfortunatly I was not able to find the guy in the hoard of shit that was skiing / riding that day, so I couldn't do anything.

I don't think it's the patrollers job to police the mtn, but they are the sole authority out there and if they are unwilling to do anything than what power do the rest of us have. They don't have to be the Yellow Coat mtn cops (Purg), nor do I want them to be, but their presence does a lot more to deter douche bags from commiting douche baggery than people realize.
The police never find it as funny as you do.

Now that's pretty fuct that patrol wouldn't do anything about that.

You should have just thrown the fucker off the chair.

    Dayum, that is fuckkkered up.

You make a good point that the patrollers have more duty than just picking up the gomers that crashed.

Look, I for sure don;t care for some asshole big headed wannabe cop patroller power trippin on me, but when these rednecks are about to hurt themselves (and others), SOMEBODY has to keep them in check.

i've been speed checked at Wolf Creek before....and on a slooooooow March day. Where's the beef on the wall-to-wall Holiday crowd?

    double standard much?

    Yep.

Sure seems to be all about the money to me.
