Well, decided to tune up the board tonight. Went to the fridge and grabbed my 2nd to last Two Hearted Ale from Bells Brewery, leftover from the 6er i grabbed last time i was in Michigan. Has to be one of the best IPA's i've ever had.

Two Hearted = one of my favorite beers of all time. Big hoppy flavor and aroma and a clean finish. Damn, I'm buying some when I get back to Michigan this afternoon.

mmmm... thanks for reminding me I still have some in the fridge! I love Bells.
So, since the OP is in Missoula, and posting about IPA, how about some
?
This thread makes me wish I had taken better advantage when I was in MI over the holidays. My personal favorite is 3rd Coast Old Ale (technically a barley wine).
I hear they're finally selling some variations of Bells beers in Chicago again too.
but you must really like hops.....its quite bitter, big body, big head

Diamond Knot IPA is pretty awesome. Really hoppy. Don't know if you can find it in missoula, but it's in a couple of pubs in seattle.
I think I'll go out for a few tonight![]()
Agree most on the Bell's two hearted. Everything I've had from them is the tits. Another great IPA is Dale's Pale Ale from Oskar Blues in Lyons, CO. Dayyumm that chit is good and solid. Hefty ABV, too. And in a can!
Asheville has a killer Pisgah Pale Ale. I swear there's some skunky kgb mixed in with the hops...
I'd be up for trading out a 12'er of Pisgah Pale for some of Oskar Blues' new 10Fidy imperial stout. Their website gives the local / regional store availability.
Hmmmm...
Not much for IPA's, but here's my new favorite from North Carolina.

Seattle's own Pike IPA is delicious right now.
There are sooooo many copy cats...
