Got some trout photos you want published?

Before putting this out on the main forum and the photo slut forum, I figured I'd open it up to the loyal Fishing Forum crew.

I publish a fly fishing mag detailing the greater Yellowstone ecosystem fisheries and we are in need of some HIGH QUALITY shots for our April issue. The photos don't necessarily need to be IN the Yellowstone area. However, if it's not a scenic shot obviously from the area then we need a Cutty, (Snake River FS Cutthroat or West Slope Cutthroat), Rainbow, or Brown Trout to be in it. No "grip'n'grins" of anything less than ridiculous! We are looking mostly for shots that showcase the trout of region or fly fishing in the region in an artistic way....sorry not looking for a shot of your buddy holding a 15 incher.

So, if you have some cool trout or fishing shots from around WY, MT, ID get in touch with me. If they/one/some fit the bill I'll be happy to get you some cash and of course recognition in the mag. We will be choosing photos for the issue in mid February. I will likely have some specific needs by then but for now...

Please post general questions in this thread rather than stuffing my PM box.

    Sorry for the spam!

I was hoping you'd post here AKPM. You seem to have some good shots. AK Bows are great. If you're interested in tossing some in my mag, PM me. I will get you the size info and you can ship me a cd or possibly upload them to the designers site.

This one isnt high enough quality (taken with a $5 disposable) but it is my favorite picture of me. Taken in a very un-disclosed spot this past summer.

Well, Lee, with a bit of artistic filtering it could be a good background photo...

Here's a nice shot of a Silver Trout caught in Idaho.....

I'll have meatdrink9 do the lighting for the shot. He'll make it artsy as fuck."

AKPM and skifishbum... I hope you don't mind... I was playing around with your photos. I just spent about 2 hours doing this kind of stuff to some wedding photos for my wife's friend, and I was going out of my mind - so I grabbed a couple fish photos out of this thread to play around with...

    Check 'em out!

schwerty, if you ever want me to do some stuff like this for you, just let me know - I'd be happy to! Maybe in exchange, next time I am up that way you can take me to some good spots or something.
