How long does the LCC road close for Conrol?

Well due to the great snow we have @ Tahoe,

I made a last second decision to make a road trip.

I just checked into the Super 8 Midvale!!

I am looking at the Alta snow report and it says the road with close at 6:30 AM for Avalanche control work. Says interlodge starting at 7AM.

What time does that usually finish up?

What time should I head up to get infront? of traffic and get into the lineup?

Should be open by around 8-830am as long as there isn't a major result which will require snow removal crews to come and cut through. Either way, there will likely be a huge line of traffic. Get a cup of coffee- relax- and show up ready to be patient around 830. It will still be good skiing when you get there.

Try to position your car close to some trees or bushes so you can hop out and pee after drinking that cup of coffee....

Sure seems like it. Curses, foiled again. I was heading out the door 45 mins ago and saw the closure. Now I guess I'll work a little bit before skiing...
