    It's not a fake -- it's a composite of several images. Several for the sky and one for the ground. It's the only way to get the large panoramic views of the night sky.

    Get this... a picture taken from the surface of Mars showing the Earth and our Moon IN THE SAME FRICKIN FRAME as Jupiter and it's moons.

    Incredible picture! It's not from the surface, but rather from orbit around Mars. None of the landers have optics that good. That's really cool.

    I'd never seen that video, but having seen the photo many times it was interesting to see depth applied to it.
