Interesting. It was a strange experience, lots of people whispering etc, I was never sure entirely what was going on until the next morning. I will say that you are right about getting medical advice from the internet. Unfortunately with sprains, not to pick on your profession, just sayin', my experience has been, weak ankles, lots of problems. I have probably had at least 20 sprains, and sought medical advice for about half. I quit seeking advice for sprains simply because, I got tired of a PA looking at my foot (never touching or examining )saying jeez I bet that hurts, sending me to xray, making me wait for 45 minutes and then coming back saying: "You were right it's just a sprain and handing me a copy of "RICE" and sending me home and treating me as if my condition were minor compared to everything else that was going on. So after awhile, I learned that it was "only minor" and not to run to the DR. anymore. So anyway, not trying to pick on you, but I think alot of people feel this way in this situation and therefore choose not to waste your time or theirs.

I did both of my ankles in this summer in separate incidents. Ice, Advil, elevate repeat. I am six months from one and a little over two from the other and both still give me trouble in shoes and require quite a bit of stretching in the morning, they are also a BITCH to get into my boots. Once in a buckled up they are 90% and don't give me much trouble.

Yesterday I aired onto a rock that stopped me dead, wreching one ankle badly. I thought I had re-injured it, but after a few hours it felt better then normal and I had regained more mobilty then I had before!

Apparently I tore some scar tissue in there, while it hurt like hell at the time, it was a good thing! Cant say the same for the nice core shot in my skis...

Wildcat was nice today. Chewed to shit now (well, plenty of wood shots left) but better than the other two options.

I'm sure the cord will be good, bith for my busted ankle and in general after all this snow. Know of any deals at the cat for this weekend? If I'm lookin at $60 bucks I may stick to abrams or cranmore or shawnee, whoevers cheapest. If you're around gimme a holler-I'm in a green camo jacket you probably wouldnt miss.
