    You don't understand man.

This is the Duke we are talking about. The Marker Duke.

It is what the wiseman went to Bethlehem to find. What the crusades were fought over. It's holier than a rose scented dropping from the ass of Jessica Alba. It's the ultimate binding.

    Oops. Misread his original post.
Still had to be a bit shady on that aspect of 4pines yesterday. Although, my "skiers right" and his could be a little different.

Heard a few other good reports from the Pass this morning! Pissed I didn't get out before work.

I gotta say- I'm pretty frustrated about the lost ski, but I actually think this alias is pretty funny

I searched around for the ski with Robokill for a while to no avail...It was so good that I wasn't going to waste my day looking. I skied back down to the village on one ski (painful), went home, grabbed the praxis and got in another great run out there.

The ski is still gone. Last Years EHP's (190's) with the Duke. If anyone comes across it, let me know- the reward will include lots of booze. It probably is there to stay till summer, as it has already snowed a bunch since, and is supposed to keep up this week. But I figure there's a small chance....

Should have never put your trust (and money) in friggen Markers!!

To think that you could have been choking on faceshots AND kept your ski

I'm glad my 977s went on a bomber ski.

Sorry to hear about the EHP loss. I would third (fourth?) the metal detector. You might check with ski patrol. I know they sometimes have one they might lend out for a small "fee".

What the hell are you doing commenting on Maxs' skiing ability? Last I heard you frequently live on the East Coast, and don't ever post pictures of yourself going huge or tearing shit up.

    Seriously.

Although we rank on Max (a lot), it's for good reasons, and his enthusiasm (although downright frightening at times ... especially those ridiculously loud crow calls at 8:30 in the morning) is second to none.

I've never added anything of value? Are you fucking kidding me?

A kid from Louisiana who has frequently diggered and injured himself by going beyond his limits is using equipment that is designed to be used by heavy skiers putting down huge lines in the sidecountry is not a cause for concern?

I personally couldn't care less what you think about me Nick. You're just another east coast poser living in Denver who thinks too highly of himself, I've never seen you post anything of value.

I've put down plenty of big lines in the backcountry of CO, Wyoming and California, and have posted plenty of TR's, if you haven't bothered to look at them, that's your problem.

Plenty of TR's? Big lines? I see one TR that involves skiing and all it has is pictures of you skiing low angled trees with a stupid look on your face.

Max is more of a skier than you'll ever be. But keep raggin' on him if that makes you feel better about yourself. It seems you always have something to say when Max is involved...

Maybe you need a new hobby

That's pretty funny. Believe whatever makes you feel superior. Doesn't really matter to me.

Then show us all the TR's you posted and we can see how rad you are...

Everybody is just trying to point out that it's ridiculous to call out Max when you've never met the guy and never skied with him. You're right, I can't compare him to your abilities either, so my bad...

Max probably has more days skiing this season than almost anybody on this board, and that's while being a full time student and pre-med. The kids has some serious dedication to the sport and has come a long way from the Gosey of old.

Who cares what bindings he's on? They are the most solid (well who knows now) AT binding around right now and the kid puts a lot of days on his skis. Why not go for something that's gonna last longer than some Naxos or Fritchis.

And finally, appologies to the OP for the stupid argument that hijacked his thread. I'm done here.

I'm just here to chime in that it sucks Pat lost his ski and hopefully someone spots it before it's buried by the new snow.

AND to mention that Max is a better skier than about 90% of the people on this board.
