eco tgr?

so we all live to ski thats why we use this forum... does anyone/ TGR care about their eco footprint? This has been bugging me, ie 2-stroke snowmachines and using a fucking helicopter to get some sick shot of people skiing park or a nasty flute up in AK all in the name of film. Well how are we all going to feel when we have to cover j-holes base area with a blanket at night so we dont have to download with lifts off the mountain? Just thought i could piss some people off or maybe provoke some new ideas.

Well yeah. Skiing life = BIG carbon footprint.

But it is hard to admit that our lifestyle is part of the problem. Add it all up:

fuel consumption for heating, getting food and suplies up into the mountain areas, everyone driving to the areas, jet fuel B for your A-Stars, plastics in every bit of your gear from clothes to hard gear...sort of mkes the head spin.

What is the option? Stop skiing? Less skiing?

I hate the environment, so I use the hot exhaust pipes on my sled to cook bacon every morning, it needs to run about 30min before its warm enough to cook it
