Yeah, to appreciate the true craziness of it, you have to keep in mind that he's going to land somewhere you'd never really choose to land.
Big ups to one of the board's biggest wackos.

Powder's nice and all, but there's something to be said for a shot like this. It's clearly a spring day and the mountain is in the process of shutting down (hence the rope that's being cleared). On days like this, some of the most fun you can have is on the slopes with "marginal" conditions. I'm sure 3 weeks ago, this was just another boring in-bounds groomer (maybe a bump run?), but now, it's as "extreme" as most of the stuff you'll find at places like Squaw and Snowbird. The added challenge of rocks, shrubs, and presumably bare spots below the landing, makes this a lot more fun to ski. I'd actually like to see more shots like this in the magazines, because it's something we can all relate too.

Vermont? Kidding of course. Great pic. glad he cleared the rope, that could have been ugly.

Props to powder11, that's a pretty sick huck at this time. The LZ had to be sketched. It's time to do a little dirt skiing, gotta bring the rockers with me next weekend.
