Good luck with figuring this out. Thats a lot of bad press but certainly not the end of the world. Some constructive criticism taken to heart and it could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to your business. Just make sure you read through some of the bandwagon and get to the real issues. The guys who are claiming to be your employees, may or may not actually be, so rushing to judgement doesn't sound fair.

I am at a loss. I received a call and was directed to this site. I am appalled at the service you received. I have only read about half of the first page, and my rage did not allow me to continue without responding. I now see that there are 22 pages! 25 responses per page is about 500 responses! As I understand it there are responses from employees of my shop. Skimming I am unable to tell who is who since there are no names I would recognize.

I am at a loss. I would like to do whatever I can to make this right. Adimen I invite you to come in and see me personally. The service you received is UNACCEPTABLE. I would like to hear your story personally, and I would like to know who gave you this exchange as action most certainly will be taken.

I would like to offer you a discount on the purchases you made, and I hope this will make you feel better, and in some way right a wrong. Also, with every business there is an owner. If you are ever disappointed with service, and a manager is not helping you in a way you feel is acceptable, go over their head. If the very top link of the chain does not do anything to make your experience better then either you are out of line, or the business is doomed. Neptune Mountaineering, I thought has survived because the people performed a service. Insulting and banning customers was never one of the services I remember providing. I implore you to come back and allow me to make the situation right. This offer is extended to anyone else who feels they have been wronged, and if there are 500 of you please allow some time as I don't know how to correct all of the problems at once, but rest assured I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT!

Sorry, I truly am also a loser. I said I was done with this thread but after driving to work I had to add something: When you air your dirty laundry in public everyone loses. This was a classic Lose Lose situation. Ad is the biggest loser because he is a spoiled person that wants to hurt people when his world goes wrong(learn you shell size it wont change for the rest of your life, Try on boots before you special order them no matter how cool they are, Read you binding manual it tells you how to adjust you own bindings so you wont prerelease, After a while you will know your din setting). Neptune loses because it can be seen that they have problems. All of us that posted are losers because of the amount of time wasted on loser things. Retail is not a perfect world, but you can usually make things right if you keep your cool and find the right person to talk to( not another maggot ) in the end the owner is willing to make things right, this will not always happen in big box stores. Lastly, Garmont played a bigger role in this than many realize with a lame midseason intro, forcing the store to buy more after they had already placed a big preseason order.
