Doh! I am retiring from that other forum. Can't handle it any more.

Hey so my wife finally got a bit interested in Boise when her old ED attending at the U recommended it...could be really fun. I liked that town a lot.

All my friends think I'm crazy because I watch ski movies before mtb, and mtb movies before skiing! Always want what I can't have.

    Trench it. Most excellent.

Last weekend I went and worked on 007, cleaning up ruts, building moto-proof jumps.

Couple nights ago I was in a friends backyard building a badass (read: super fast) pump track. A few days before that we were out at a guys house helping him build a 2x track.

But I'm starting to get the skiing jones after seeing all the pow pics of late. I need help.

Nice CS. How do you build moto-proof jumps? There was that one little skinny ladder jump and I could never even get lined up on the thing b/c of all the loose sand from motos...

Pump track - cool. First one I ever rode was last week at Ray's, it's way more fun than I thought. And way more of a workout than I thought. Did you get yours dialed in?

Mail me some snow and shut up about bikes.

I can only go home and kick my dog so many times in snowless anger....

Let me know if you need a tour guide around here. I can put her in touch with some docs up here too if she would to chat.

Granted, OH (or MD for that matter) isn't exactly an ideal location for a skier or a mtb'er, but being able to basically ride all year is kinda nice. Probably not this weekend w/ this storm coming through, though.

Well, who knows how moto-proof they'll actually be, but they aren't huge and are made mostly of rock, so we'll see.

That little skinny ladder is beat down, wobbly and worthless now.

But, I do have some plans for bigger dubs off to the side, hopefully away from moto madness.

As for my pump track, no, it's not dialed at all and will need a ton of work to be. So, I'm just helping the people who are basically around the corner from me. The track is large, like 90 feet straights large, and I'm avoiding the mistakes I made on mine to make this one fast and flowey. But it'll be an ass-kicker workout for sure.
