How many holes in an Iggy FGS "Killer Acapulco Gold"?

Well, the FGS 185 I got are pretty trashed top and bottom, so I guess it doesnt matter that much, but I could use some advice.

BTW, they are so faded that I think they have changed their name from "Killer Green" to "Killer Acapulco Gold"

So, they have two sets of Fritschi holes and one set of Atomics.
Its getting pretty swiss cheesy in the toe area.

    Here's my options:
    1) Fritschi - no way. I hate this binding on hardpack
    2) Atomic binder - I have none, and I'm not sure the existing holes work for my BSL

    3) Drill for Solly (my original plan, but this would be total swiss cheese at the toe and I am not trusting the close hole pattern on the solly toe with all those old holes clustered together). there is no way to reuse old holes.

    4) Drill a FOURTH SET of holes for Dukes. The holes in the rear are clear.

I can reuse 2 of the front holes, but the other 2 front holes will intersrect (barely) with 2 existing holes.

    How bad will this be?
Most of the new screw holes will bite, but there is a small seciton that will touch the old holes..
My plan was to pull the old plastic plugs and fill with epoxy to increase strength before drilling the new holes.

this mount will put me +0.5 which should be fine.

I have checked Tyrolia/Fischer template and that is as bad as solly.

Can't you just move the mounting point forward or back? I think the toe gets much less stress than the heel. Or do I have it backwards?
    No longer stuck.

Serially? Can't I bend the rules for an Iggy?

At telemarktips they had a binding pullout test thread where some engineer types mentioned how bolts are acutually set in epoxy that fills an intentionally oversize hole.

Granted, this is the method that killed a woman in the Bid Dig tunnel when th concrete roof collapsed, but is there any merit to burying a ski screw in epoxy in an oversize hole rather than a wood hole?

And besides, this would be mostly bonded in wood, and only partially dependent on the epoxy on one small side.

Alright, I think I can squeeze the Sollys in after all.

Just under 1cm between hole edges.

    But,

    A) I end up 2cm back - is that OK for Iggy FGS?

    B) there are already 10 holes in the heel and 11 in the toe.

After I'm done there will be 15 holes in the heel and 15 in the toe

    Is that acceptable??

If so, I think I will pull all the toe plugs and fill those holes with epoxy to add more strength.

Make a ghetto cutting board plate and use some of the existing holes. Sould allow you to mount whatever you want at the mounting point you want.

Naxos? The toepiece is way far forward, so you should be able to mount on the line and still pretty much have a clean slate.

    Plate?

Mount point should be farther apart than normal bindings, will also add some integrity to the swisscheesed skis

I like the plate idea, or heli coils. FGS's are pretty bomber in my expiereince. I wouldn't worry too much about the swiss cheese. I don't think I would mount them 2 cm back but that's just me, and I would say depends on the flex too. They are a fairly small ski as it is. Both of my pairs are 260 flex, have/had 5mm vist lifters, 914's and are mounted 7mm forward, and one pair has Naxo holes in them too. So all in all they are sick skis. If they were mine I'd come up with a plate/lifters to put in the existing holes and throw the Solly's on the plate, and mount them center to 1cm forward.
