Quickie after work ride mini TR

Sitting at my desk looking at pics of everyone skiing blower pow and getting grumpier as the day went on knowing that my turns were still 2 days away, I did the only reasonable thing I could think of which was going for a nice little afterwork sunset ride around Tam. So beautiful out there, really the perfect, crisp fall day. Pretty lame as far as pics go since I was solo and the battery died just as I was getting back to the sunny side of the hill but a pretty fun test drive for the G9.

Perfect for a roadie on a MTB ride

The rock garden never looks bad in pics but it sure is a bitch to climb

File under stupid things done...pics while one hand descending=bad idea

    Attitude adjustment scenic

    Heading home

Sorry, no gnar gnar air, crazy single track, or freeride antics just the perfect antidote for a snow jones when theres no snow nearby and a great way to spend a couple of hours after work. Now...it's Miller time!

Nice, I heart that area! Wish there was some single track open!

Close..Railroad to tank turns, around to Eldridge, over the hill and back down Railroad. Nice when it's in your backyard and really cool when you still see the godfathers (Fisher, Breeze, etc) out there rippin' it up.

Actually, if you're careful, theres some good singletrack up there and to the north although a guy I ran into yesterday referred to the three $180 tickets he got for poaching as "user fees". I consider the $40 for a Tamarancho pass a user fee..$180 for riding my bike on a Wednesday afternoon with nobody else on the trail is just wrong.
