Entitled Boomer does whatever he wants. That checks out.

    Colorado Weather Discussion Thread

I don’t get the e-bike hate. I guess I do get it if they’re riding them in throttle mode (unless it’s to get back home after bonking or something).
I was hiking at ABasin this weekend and saw a few people riding emtbs up the newer single track trail. Is that technically allowed? If not, does anyone give a shit?

Back to the NIMBY trail hater discussion, CBMBA made a social media post a couple of days ago about someone taking out all their flagging and placing a badly misspelled sign saying they would call the authorities if anyone started digging. Too bad, it's approved and it's going in. There's a small but increasingly vocal anti trail contingent out there. Fuck em,

I saw that post. Good effort, but pretty funny. People are so weird, especially the rich when it comes to their perceived property.

was hoping to ride Stoner Mesa, Sockrider zone this fall. Checked out the Stoner Mesa fire on Colorado Wildfire Map. Went over to Cotrex to compare the areas and Cotrex had the fire on the map. Pretty nice that they update with the fires. Could use some moisture. The leaves on the aspens I planted are dying, hopefully will not kill the tree.

Lee fire really blowing up, over 100K acres. Glad the huge run didnt involve wiping the town of meeker out. This is an ominous parallel to 2020 where the western slope blew up first with pine gulch in early august and then east troublesome/cameron peak followed. Hoping this year doesnt hold the same pattern.

I was riding up in West Mag today and stopped by my favorite Ned coffee shop Salto. But it’s gone! Now it’s Ned General Store. Did she sell?

Thought I saw something where maybe the Gold Hill Genny store folks bought it? Might be wrong, but I knew it was changing hands.

How about those days where it’s gray bird. Or even kinda stormy. With shit fuck conditions. No one around. Only two or three turns out of a whole run feel nice because the winds fucked it all up. I’ll take a few of those each season.

    Sounds alright at the moment.

I know nobody is here these days but since this is the "Colorado" thread I just listed a hut trip for sale for next month, Emmelyn Hut near Leadville, it's in gear swap.
