Ham sammiches being prepared now.
Call in sick. Today's the day. Cold NW flow delivers.
Update from chair 5, bring your snorkel, bring your squeegee.
And maybe some lozenges.
I done fucked up.

Full disclosure: I'm slaying the desk right now getting a big bid done for summer
That said, the skiing is retardedly good right now because a. it's snowing and b. nobody is here. It sounds obvious skiing at the ski areas close to Denver on the weekends will only ever be so good. It sounds so simple but Winter Park will have about 2K skiers today and close to 20K this weekend.
I'm not trying to rub it in. Just saying that people that don't ski weekdays don't really know how good weekdays are. People love to talk about all kinds of retardation like building new ski areas and monorails but the reality is that its only a cluster fuck when the front range weekend warriors make it a cluster fuck. I empathize but reality bites.
should've gone skiing today...
At WP with 250,000 of my closest friends and 10” of absolute blower on top of sun crust right now.
You should have been here yesterday!
Nice day to fly a kite.
Pretty deep, especially in blown in areas. Nobody at the Basin. Left early to get to work but I got mine.
10-12” blower. Sooooo good. And quiet!!

Man revived after suffocating in snow on Vail slope
VAIL — A group of skiers and snowboarders revived an Ohio man after he suffocated while upside down in deep snow on a Colorado slope.
The Vail Daily reports Michael Laush was celebrating his 40th birthday on Vail Mountain when he became trapped headfirst in snow Saturday.
Tom Nern and Karen Nern, who is CPR-certified, saw a woman screaming for help. They then saw a pair of ski boots sticking out of the ground.
The Nerns, retired OB-GYN Beth McCrann and others started digging Laush out
Tom Nern says they pulled out a corpse. Laush was purple and wasn’t breathing.
McCrann and Karen Nern performed CPR.
Karen Nern says Laush’s pulse came back after three rounds of chest compressions.
Laush was taken to a Denver hospital and made a quick recovery.
Holy shit. Lucky guy.
Damn, that dude got lucky indeed with people close by and 2 with medical knowledge. The headfirst fall in deep powder is scary shit to read and think about. Also, that Jackson local with her pink bases being seen by a passing skier which most likely saved her life.
