I didn't say shit about conditions. All-time? You obviously we're not here in 1982 buster.

Somewhere always seems to be ALL TIME every year.
NW flow still hanging around, should keep things fresh. All you can ask for to end this week.

In this case the statement is not hyperbole. We are objectively having one of the best Januarys ever.

Yawn. 24 feet in 22 days in Tahoe. ;-)

(I kid, though, it's all about how the snow comes down that makes it great or not. I've had much better 6 inch days than 2+ foot days with an upside-down pack)

Agreed! We all are guilty of overhyping things at times, but no doubt about it, winter has been off the freaking charts since December 1st. Keep it coming.

I love WC as much as the next guy but it has always been such a bummer that the place doesn't have more vert or steeps. Maybe that new expansion will help.

Is that because I defeated him or he retired? If so I'm happy with both. Anyone with children should be forced to only use Facebook anyway. TGR is for real men right?

Good for them! They could use the water. But I live here, so I'll take what we got.

Seems to me like it's legitimately "all time" pretty much all over, except for the poor east coast.

Got some stuff to move around on the surface hoar layer today. No slab built up where I was, so it didn't propagate, but it didn't take much to knock it off.

Great skiing today in summit county ! Started at keystone and hiked the south bowl a couple times. Nice creamy yum yum snow.

Peaced out and drove up to the basin. Still lots of untracked snow! Lower east wall was great - knee deep in plenty of areas but kinda heavy wind affected - definitely not blower.

Some asshole stole my gloves while I was eating at black mountain lodge. Who does that ? Especially considering how cold it was today. I had another pair so it didn't ruin the day, but still, wtf?

Holy crap, kids talking about the huge storms in Crested Butte, California, and elsewhere are hilarious. Apparently avalanches sound like elephant farts. Who knew? https://www.outsideonline.com/214989...ing-bunch-kids

That sucks... Did you check lost and found? Seems like people accidentally taken more often than intentionally, but I also heard someone had been trying to break into the season lockers recently... Apparently, a few clever people have shown up this winter. Were you around the season when someone picked up the habit of siphoning gas from the cars in the upper lots?

Anything identifiable about the gloves? I'd roll up on 'em like LD.

Pretty nice at vail today ! Still lots of untracked snow in the back bowls - red square was basically still untouched. Hucked some small cliffs. I feel like I am getting old - my knees can't take anything too big anymore.

Ended the day with the minturn mile. Good snow, but kinda heavy in spots. I am beat.
