FWIW, clearing in the morning makes sense from a "how much snow since the last snow report" POV, while clearing at 4pm makes sense from a "how much snow has fallen since people have been off the slopes (ie, will I get fresh tracks tomorrow morning)" POV.

T-bars will have lines. You can hike the NFL in 10 minutes if the line sucks. All other lifts won't, except the 9am rush.

Conditions are once every 10 years good, but we need more terrain openings and that won't happen til the snow stops.

Wasn't talking about reports, just the cam and when it's cleared.

Copper has two stakes, one cleared at ~4a and one cleared at ~5a. I like their way very much.

For some reason I am having deja vu, I think I've had this discussion here before.
You did ask this last year.

Man, what a year for CB. I wonder how it's measuring up against 2007-08 so far.

Tough to say, I think we're in the 160" range so far. I do know that we were open wall to wall by this time of year in 07-08. This year, we haven't even gotten into Phoenix/Spellbound or the frontside. We need an extended break for patrol to get back there. Or a mountain manager who actually skis.

It's nuking right now, and right around 32 degrees at 9500. Interesting day for me to go show property. "Look at the views"

Rain in Vail. Sticky as fuck down low and heavy up high. Something like 30°F at mountaintop. Damn it, why couldn't it stay cold?

Good thing global warming is only a myth... Hopefully the baby Jesus will be pleased when Scott Pruitt dismantles the EPA and we'll be blessed with some colder weather.

It's actually skiing quite well today provided you avoid the slop.

Highs in the 30s, overnight lows in the 20s for the next few days. This forecast has been brought to you by the University of Alabama.

Trying to decide between WP and CB tomorrow (RM pass). CB forecast to get more but maybe not a 3 hour additional drive time worth. The density during day makes me think they could have NFL and High Lift on delay or closed tomorrow.

Good base building snow today. Filled in around some rocks and such. Today was deep, tomorrow will be deeper.
