Keystone has cloud seeding too FYI. At least it did in the past. I know where the machine is.... No idea if it is still in use.

Keystone was getting good snow last year too. It depends on wind direction and orographics. I remember reading some scientific research article that proved that the lake had 0 effect on Keystone's snow, frozen or not, it just isn't big enough to have an effect.

Yep, thick and creamy....good for fast, surfy turns. Breck skied well, E Chair and mid-load SuperConnect laps first thing for me. Heard 6 Chair was going to open, but the wind picked up, so maybe not.....the gondola currently isn't spinning...

EDIT: the Tbar just opened, per Twitter. Horseshoe Bowl open.

Can you post a link to where to sign up for these classes?

Just the lift? I bet lower third would have been SIIIICK!

Looks like ab's on track to score again this weekend... Hopefully the holiday invasion puts some miles on the fresh before it blows away. Would suck to fly in this weekend only to ski 6" of breakable crust in -25 wind chill, but I'm glad someone will there to do it. Anyone tracking the tourism forecast?

No, the whole face, and the alleys. Maybe not lower alleys. Lift opened Wednesday. It has been good.

This smells like one of those storms where Silverton reports ~50"+.
Fingers crossed this cold front moves its ass south in a hurry.

Only one 20 yard section on Pali where I had to sidestep some rocks today. Better mags than I would have likely danced through them, but I hate doing base work.

Then, I headed skiers right into the trees. Now, I have some base work to do ;-)

Drove to WYO today at 2:30....sunny and dry from wolcott to Toponas then a tad snowy over Gore Pass then sunny to Walden. Snowed over the snowy range then heavy snow, 50 mph winds gusting higher, total whiteout and temp went from 36 to 5 in 2 miles.
