    No your statement of fact was retarded. They have 58" of total snowfall to date. The base in spring is usually 58". So again, retarded statement.

    That's where you're wrong.

    The snow in late season is way more compacted, way more base. Right now things look very covered, but the second you start skiing them your skis sink to the bottom and you hit all kinds of stuff. In the spring, the snow has melted down and you can actually see things you're going to hit to avoid them.

    Source: I was in the backcountry right next to Mary Jane last weekend and while it looked good in many areas, I was hitting all kinds of shit every 3 turns.
