    They are allowed to open and close those two routes whenever they feel like it. Usually they don't open uphill access at all until snowmaking is done for the year.

    Holy shit, the pics at Loveland look great. Not sure what the base is up to, but they've been snowmaking for 60 hours straight and have received 4-6" natural.
