    There are a few more to the north of there that are artificial lakes or enhanced natural lakes. Sandbeach, Lawn, and a couple others. The Lawn Lake flood that created the alluvial fan happened when a dam failed.

    A bunch of the lakes in Wild Basin used to have man made dams and outlet control

    Yep, got a quick 10 minute hail dump in Breck yesterday too. Got a good bike ride in between rain storms though. Perfect timing, sometimes you just gotta go even if the weather looks like shit.

    Pikes peak sure seemed to have a good mantle of snow extending fairly low this AM. I don't think I have ever seen it so clearly visible from Denver.
