Did a couple of Mines to hanging meadow runs at Berthoud this morning. It was powder early and turning heavy and roller balls by noon. Got warm fast.

If a guy wanted to get up high and ski just about anything north for I-70, tomorrow could be a pretty good day. I've been around a bit and there are lines that go right now that don't go to often.

Weather looks a little moody for a bit. If we could get some bluebird days and cold nights skiing would go off both in bounds and in the BC. I'm going kayaking.

The steep groomers have been unreal on the sunny afternoons and there is literally no one around. As in you sit on the lift and you can see about 10 people across the whole area. I guess I'm as bad as the next guy in that if it sucks I won't go but come on people, it's good.

Side note, I've never had a bad time skiing with a Maggot. It's the one's who really don't go skiing that I wonder about.

We parked at Blue spruce parking, there was nobody there. No idea what the Jane side was, I had to put my kiddo in a lesson. Sun just came out, it will soften up fast, it's already blazing.

Agree! The coverage everywhere is awesome. I stayed in the alpine at Breck yesterday - had the summit of Peak 8 and Lake Chutes pretty much to myself. I know people say it every year but it's amazing people clamor to ski the WROD from mid-Oct to mid-Nov and yet give up in March. I love this time when it quiets down but when ski areas are closing with a 75" base, that just sucks.

I ended up bailing at the choke... The rest of the group continued. My decision was based on a haze and wind that picked up and wet slide debris from yesterday. But it looks like it has cleared up since then and will probably be a good run.. I expect we'll see a full TR from skinewhere later on. Way to get it guys...
