Denver mags PM me if you need a Loveland 4-pack ticket. $24.98 + $99.99 delivery.
Loveland closed for the season. I hear Vail or Breck are getting double the snow anyway...
Looks like about the same at WP. Maybe more.
^^^ It's only a 20 mile ski from Eldora to WP...
so every dirt bag with a porno van a vape pen and a case of pbr is gonna be dirt bagging it in the mtns this weekend trying to make turns and mac on whatever pussy is left over at the end of the season, I better make some reservations at the four seasons in moab this weekend, storms gonna be a bust all rain
Plus it's gonna be like PNW powder, where 20" skis like 4"
Already 5" on ground since last night and it's absolutely hammering right now here in Routt Cnty. Probably a foot already at Mt. Werner, 7" showing on cam already. Too bad mountain is closed but that's how it goes. I'll get turns regardless.
This is the kind of storm that always underdelivers for the ski areas. Evergreen will probably get like 4-feet though.
During upslope events, they will predict 3-feet of snow at loveland, and they will get 3-6 inches. everywhere west of that will get about 2".
OTOH if you see Northwest flow and 2" predictions, plan for a pow day.
clouds were low and heavy this morning, they have lifted and now were getting a flake or two here and there, the air is kind of dry, donut hole?
It's hilarious how many people complain about these late storms. Obviously not us and avid skiers. But it's these type of storms that help us not repeat the summer of '12 where the whole Front Range was ablaze in June. I keep telling people to embrace it and who the fuck cares anyway. The snow in town will be gone by Tuesday.
Joel calling for 22"-44" at Winter Park, similar at ABasin.
Lightning hold at Vail
Raining super hard at Loveland.
Should be start taking bets on when I70 closes and how many times it'll close over the next 24 hours?
I predict another shitshow of epic proportions when the sun goes down.
