Is it any less windy West of the divide today? Georgetown is windy as hell and I'm thinking about heading home and going up tomorrow instead. It's nice to have options.

If you have to ask, you should turn around now.

You know how being on one side of the divide or the other can change things dramatically. I'll report back on whether or not this was folly.

OK, so I'll answer it for myself. It's a dead calm at A-basjn.

So, if you have to ask, and its in the mountains ... you have to ask.

I say this every year. But with Keystone closing this weekend, and many others soon to follow, and it looking like it's gonna snow all next week, WTF is wrong with this picture? People are falling all over each other in October to go ski on a shitty WROD, but lose interest when the whole fucking mountain could be open in April.

I'm just pissed because when they close, everyone from the other mountains show up at ABasin. Newsflash Gapers: There are no RFID scanners here, you actually have to take out your pass. Stop holding up the line! [/rant]

Fuck that. All anyone wants to do anymore is "TOUR" like it is some new fun sport. I've been doing that shit for two decades and I'm over it. I "toured" out to a line in the Gore the other day and all I have to show for it is a big ass blister on my foot. Now get off my lawn!

Well, you should try going on "missions" then. If you had done a couloir mission instead of a tour it would have been way radder and you wouldn't care that your poor delicate little foot got a blister.

Yeah, I just can't keep up with the terminology anymore. I need to wok on that.

And I need a snowmobile, so I can move the blister to my throttle thumb.

Quality vs quantity? I choose quantity of quality.
