Who was at Jane today at Hole In The Wall chute with the girl losing her ski in the chute at 8:50am. Last I heard..she was going to walk down...ride Challenger up and then go back to find it. I couldn't stop laughing at the entire situation.

Did she hike it? Lifts weren't spinning till 0900 today

November seems late for Silverton. They usually have a pic of someone doing a slash turn in an isolated wind drift posted up on social media by October at the absolute latest.

I was up in Jackson all weekend (didn't suck) but perusing the CAIC obs today, seems like quite the flurry of human triggered slides over the weekend. Some lucky ones, too.

Yeah, but the low danger has been sweet. It's the wind that's more annoying to me, it's really limiting the aspects that are skiing well right now

The wind fucked a lot of above treeline areas. Hoping actual spring storms solves this. Entrances to big mtn lines are bare.

Its probably been one of the windiest seasons I've seen. Its fucked with us all year.

Yup, it's been fairly amazing - looking at the wind scouring on perhaps 270 degrees of aspects in the I-70 area around the divide. I can't recall ever seeing this much bare ground in the alpine in an average snow year.

Down here in Durango we've got a giant dust storm right now. What the fuck man...
