SO how was the LUV and all their misreported snow today? Looks like the other wave is about to blow in for the overnight fun.
You should have been here yesterday!

Wonder if Chair 9 was open at all with the wind. If not, Wednesday or Thursday will be sweet up there.

Top of Norway was windswept and I heard the E faces were nice.... I'm sure it got moved some

Keystone was fun today. Wind was not an issue, I stayed in the trees off North Peak. Didn't venture to the Outback as it seemed like everyone was going there.

ABasin was money today. 2nd chair on Pali and empty as fuck. I think I waited in a 'line' twice? Thanks Keystone. No real movement from patrol work that I saw (typical windskins and cornice shedding). Zuma was skiing damn well, no crust found, just bottomless Tahoe-style creamy powder. Pretty much untracked all day long. Should be good tomorrow too, but probably heading to Berthoud instead.

Indeed, all the E facing stuff on Ajax was really fun. Great to ski some soft winter snow again.

However- based on discussions with several people who were at Highlands, the bowl was definitely the correct move.

Ironically, Loveland is so flat it skies really well with 8-10 inches!

8-10 at Loveland skies like 50 inches at CB!

Who knew ABasin had so much in common with Benny's mom?

A-basin has a lot of wind affected heavy creamy snow, with lots of weird little icy patches this am.

    It was a blast

Skied right onto Pali all morning, nobody there. Gotta love a 7" report at the stone and LL pass closed. Now if we could just get rid of all the moronic drivers in Keystone.

Can't decide if the snow was better today or yesterday. The decision to ride my 168 splitboard was definitely better. Cold and windy powder...

Just driving back, and a big old SUV was on its side in front of that place, blocking all access up the hill. Many happy skiers stuck.

That's my biggest worry on the way to the hill these days. Some dumbfuck will crash and I won't be able to make it there, or worse yet, they'll hit me and I'll really be fucked. I saw that Expedition upside down in front of the Keystone sign. Third SUV I've seen upside down this season in that same area. They should just leave them there as lawn ornaments.

I'm kinda sure that thing came over from the other side (our side coming down the hill) of the road. Wtf? It's flat there.

I saw that flipped SUV on my way back thru as well.....front of the roof was munched. The ABasin sidecountry was titties today, soft and deep on north aspects in the trees.
