Thank you Ullr for the awesome stealth powder day. Blue bird, untracked and nothing but tourists not wanting to hike for as far as you could see.
    Perfect!

Close. I'm up at St. Mary's Glacier. Closer to Winter Park than Eldora.

Fat flakes coming down right now for those up high in Routt Cnty. Freshies were awesome on the pass yesterday, not blower but nice and supportive. Headed out for some refills at dusk.

I skied every damned day in February, a first for me. Fingers crossed the rest of March brings more softgoods. Next week looks to be shaping up.

I've got some up here (old wood slats), but it's all rotted and blown out, I'd love to get some more to throw up.
My fence for my dogs is 8' high, but there's a spot where the fence runs parallel to my driveway and the snow there is 5' deep....... 3' of fence isn't enough to keep the GSD in.

    ^^ not even close

It tapers as the month progresses though. Some colleges have them as late as last week of March and first week of April. Here are some dates if you guys wish to seek some hot co-eds skiing in bikinis according to school:

I'm pretty sure that it's not college spring breaks that drive "spring break" at most ski areas, it's school districts. Back when I worked at Purg, our biggest week was when Texas school districts had their spring break.

That said, back then what you said holds true, it certainly won't end before next week (I'm guessing that's the big week, going by memory). We usually had one BIG week, but all of March was busy.

College definitely drives it up here. All week, everything has been swarmed by spring breakers, except the supermarkets. I guess kids don't cook these days.

It's the college dorks that affect skiing at the resort for me, not the munchkins. Drunk dudes in unitards and capes, spectacular crashes, bikinis, jean shorts, trails of vomit... Saw it all yesterday and already have had my fill. Esp now with legal weedz.

    Split kooks!

Fuckin 55 degrees right now. Time to go ski some sunset corn behind the house I guess.

interesting, I guess I've not been out during the week at the Boat or Summit County, for the most part (and spring break has much smaller effect on the weekends). In Durango it was definitely not college kids back in the day, but maybe it's changed there too. My ski bum-fu is decades old now.

I dint think Durango has ever been a spring break hot spot. Nice place though.

19th-26th is the supposed peak, but there are still a lot of people getting up and after it despite the warmth. I am just having a hard time getting motivated when it feels like spring.
